Detoxifying Green Smoothie

Green smoothies are simply the best way to start your day.

They are the quickest and easiest way to get a healthy dose of raw veggies before lunch- giving you boundless amounts of energy and a sense of well being. In January, we can often forget to drink water; this smoothie is blended with coconut water which means that it is a hydrating hero.

The key to making the perfect detoxifying drink is to make sure you pack in at least 2 types of vegetables. To sweeten this one, I have added pineapple and kiwi- these tropical fruits are full of water- great for beating the bloat!

The Recipe

Ingredients

50g of pineapple (chopped and peeled)

1 peeled kiwi

300ml of coconut water

1/2 avocado

1 handful of spinach

1/2 tsp of coconut oil

Directions

Place everything in a blender and blend until smooth.
