Easter Nests

I am so excited for Easter this year and of course all of the delicious treats I will make with Shay. Easter nests have been one of my favourite treats since I was a little girl, they really are one of the most popular sweet treats for children. I have made mine with puffed rice and dark chocolate and added some little chocolate eggs on top. The decorating is always the most fun part, get creative and then dig in! They will disappear quicker than you think..

The Recipe

Ingredients

200g dark or milk chocolate

60g of puffed rice

Directions

Melt the chocolate in a bowl over boiling water and add the puffed rice until coated. 

Add the nests into cupcake trays and refrigerate for 30 minutes until solid and then take out and decorate.

Serve with Easter eggs and decorations of choice!
