Christmas Butter Board

So I’m sure we’ve all seen the viral butter boards by now - I’m not going to lie, I’ve been totally fascinated by them, such a cool concept!

In the theme of all things holiday season, here’s my festive twist on the classic butter board.

Sprinkled with fresh clementine zest, earthy thyme, punchy pomegranate and a drizzle of delicious honey, this is the perfect addition to your dinner party snack board.

I love to serve my with some freshly toasted sourdough bread - just the best!

The Recipe

Ingredients

1 pack of butter, room temp
50g of pomegranate seeds
1 sprig of rosemary
1 sprig of thyme
1 tbsp of honey
1 clementine zested
1 pinch of chilli flakes 


To serve:
Sourdough bread, toasted

Directions

Start by making sure the butter is room temp soft but not melted.
Grab your wooden board and a knife, spread the butter around 1/2 the pack onto the board. Top with the seeds, rosemary and thyme sprigs, honey, clementine zest and chilli flakes. 

Serve with toasted crusty sourdough or crackers.
