I love working out because exercise makes me feel strong and confident in my body. It’s my go-to whenever I’m stressed or tired, so I always find it’s worth taking time out to go to the gym, no matter how full-on my week is.
And when I’ve got to dash afterwards – actually, I always have to race off somewhere! – I’ve discovered a few tricks to sort out my post-workout skin. I’m so excited to share them with you in this video I created with my favourite skincare brand Origins at the amazing new Frame Fitzrovia studio. Being beetroot-faced looks impressive in the gym, but outside I prefer to look glowy!
So, I start off with Origins Original Skin Cleansing Makeup Removing Jelly – it contains willowherb and coconut oil which gives it such an amazing nourishing texture, but it’s powerful enough to remove my mascara too.
Next up, I layer on Origins Original Skin Matte Moisturizer with Willowherb which is oil-free (no more shine!) but really hydrating. It has the most gorgeous scent too.
Sometimes my skin stays red for a while after my workout, so I finish off with Origins Original Skin Pore-Perfecting Cooling Primer with Willowherb to help minimise my pores. It gives a nice sheer finish I’ll happily run out the door without makeup on, or it’s a brilliant base for makeup too.
