I love products that are ethical and sustainable – I feel as though the products have meaning and have a heart. I’m really drawn to a product if it has a story behind it, almost as if you know the journey from factory to shelf. So this week, I’m so excited to share with you some fair trade and sustainable brands and products that I’m loving.
Luckily for us, in a culture that’s mass-produced, there are ways to make sure you’re helping the environment and the manufacturers.
So I wanted to introduce to you some brands that I’m loving which are sustainable and ethical. These are the ethical brands you need to know about…
I love this brand, the t-shirts are so cute, and they have cool, affordable fitness wear. They believe that when working out it’s the opportunity to let your style run free. Prices are really reasonable and like this top start from £28.
People Tree has long been a favourite for me! I love the brand and everything it stands for. They are fair-trade and produce environmentally sustainable fashion. They use organic cotton and I love this cute striped top.
This raw cacao powder is sun dried and totally organic and fair trade. You can be sure you’re not harming the environment when you purchase this powder.
Tea is one of my favourite things ever! I love having tea all throughout the day and Clippers is great. Their teabags are organic and fair trade and I especially love that they are unbleached.
A good quality coffee is great! I advise you have one cup and before 12pm so as to not abuse the caffeine hit. I especially love it if the coffee I’m having comes from a sustainable source that is great for those who harvest the coffee beans.
I love using avocado oil in my cooking. What’s great is it has a high smoking point so can be used when you are using high temperatures.
Quinoa flakes are great alternative to porridge oats if you want to change up your breakfast. I love soaking them overnight in coconut milk to make a creamy instant on-the-go brekkie.
Coconut Flour is a great product, it’s has a sweet flavour and I love using it in baking to create a lovely coconutty flavour!
Mirabelle makes handmade fair trade jewellery as well as a British Made collection. Think pretty pendants at good prices.
Monsoon is committed to ethical trading; their ethical team regularly checks that the factories set out minimum requirements on working conditions, pay and employment rights, how fab!
I love a facial mist nothing makes me feel more refreshed. It’s such a great way of getting hydrated quickly without having to get a moisturiser out.
This gentle facial mist calms, refreshes and rehydrates my skin. Spray on your face throughout the day as needed.
