We are all trying to eat a bit more plant based in my household, but sometimes we just crave a nice sticky chicken wing. So I went and found the #vegan alternative and do you know what I now don’t mind if I don’t ever have a sticky chicken wing again. Ready in 40 minutes
Good For Date night, Girls night in, Lunch, Student friendly
1 cauliflower cut into florets
Batter-
5 tbsp of flour
350ml of water
1 tsp of garlic powder
1 tbsp of sesame seeds
1/2 tsp of salt
Sauce-
2 tbsp of tomato concentrate
2 tbsp of maple syrup
1 tbsp of rice vinegar
1 tbsp of grated ginger
2 crushed garlic cloves
1/2 tsp of cayenne
2 tbsp of tamari
1 tbsp of sesame oil
Whisk the batter ingredients together in a bowl. Preheat the oven to 200C.
Dip each floret into batter then place on a baking tray spaced apart. I used two!
Bake for 20mins.
Mix the sauce ingredients together in a bowl. Coat the cauliflower in the sauce and bake for 20 mins.
I served them with avocado, refried black beans, tamari, sautéed mushrooms and avocado on a gf wrap!
The whole recipes takes only 40 minutes!
