Smoked Homemade Baked Beans. A classic dish and so easy to make homemade.
I know I know, baked beans out of a can are simpler but often they have added sugar in them and you can add extra veg and spices when you make from scratch!
This simple dish holds a great amount of fibre, and is great for fuelling you through the day. Enjoy.

Ready in 40 minutes
Good For Brunch, Girls night in, Lunch, Movie night, Student friendly
1 tsp of olive oil
1 can of cannellini beans, rinsed
1 can of passata
2 crushed garlic cloves
1/2 white onion, finely diced
1/2 tsp of smoked paprika
1 courgette, peeled and grated
First, add the diced onion to a preheated pan with olive oil. After 5 minutes add in the garlic and stir well.
Next, add the rest of the ingredients to the pan. Simmer for 30 mins.
Perfect served on top of a baked potato for an easy and satisfying supper.
