WOW, this Honey & Thyme Halloumi is such a delicious and quick recipe to whip up for breakfast, lunch or dinner for guaranteed deliciousness.
I love serving this as a sharing platter alongside some salad, hummus and bread for a super simple mezze dinner that will just be perfect for eating outside with friends in *fingers crossed* three more weeks!
1 pack of halloumi, sliced
1/2 red chilli finely sliced
4 sprigs of thyme or 1 tsp of dried thyme
1 tbsp honey plus extra for drizzling
1 tbsp olive oil for grilling
Warm a griddle pan over a medium – hot flame
In a bowl mix together the honey, thyme, sliced chilli and halloumi slices until the slices are completely coated.
Pour the olive oil into the pan and griddle for a few minutes on each side until golden and charred
Pop the halloumi onto a plate and finish with an extra drizzle of honey
