These Gingerbread Halloween Cookies are the perfect spooky accompaniment to your halloween festivities this year. Gingerbread is a childhood favourite of mine. Ginger helps with digestion so will not leave you feeling bloated, and the fiery root helps soothe a winter cold!

Good For Halloween
Preheat the oven to 170C,
Line a baking tray with grease proof paper.
In a food processor beat the butter/coconut oil with sugar for 30 seconds then add the syrup and eggs and beat for a further 30 seconds.
In another bowl mix the flour, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, bicarb and a pinch of sea salt together.
Mix both bowls together into a dough. Roll it out so it is ½-1cm thick then cut into gingerbread men.
Bake for 10 minutes until cooked through. Leave to cool.
