Easter is just around the corner so why not make these delicious and playful Easter Biscuits! I have always found this time of the year to be one of my favourite times to bake and this is one of my go to recipes that the whole family will love.
It is a super fun way of getting creative with the decorating with the kids. I hope you have as much fun making these as I did!
150g ground almonds
250g of gf flour or regular white flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
10 medjool dates
100g coconut oil or butter
1 tsp of cinnamon powder
1/2 tsp ginger powder
50g of coconut sugar or brown sugar
Preheat the oven at 160c.
Blend the butter and dates in a blender until it forms a smooth and sticky texture.
Separately, add all the dry ingredients to a bowl and mix all together.
Pour the smooth blended ingredients in and stir again until it forms a solid dough.
Roll out the dough until nice and flat.
Use your cookie cutters and place the cut cookies on a lined baking tray.
Bake for 10 minutes until lightly golden.
Let them cool then decorate how you wish!
