I’m a mother, nutritional therapist and author who has been sharing recipes to help you get the glow back for the last 8 years...
It’s been almost a year since I released my first book Get the Glow, and now it seems so surreal that I’m holding my second book Ready Steady Glow and sharing it with the world!
People always ask me where I get the inspiration for my books from, and my main aim in doing everything that I do is to make a living a healthy lifestyle easy and accessible to everyone.
I’m always reading comments on all of my social media, my website, emails that you send in to me with your questions, and the main thing that kept popping up as issues is that you said you didn’t have enough time during the week to eat healthy and stay motivated.
When I began writing Ready Steady Glow back in August last year, I knew that I wanted the book to be full of quick recipes that would help you guys stick to your healthy habits mid-week and beyond!
The book is split into two halves – Fast and Slow.
Midweek, it’s super easy to whip up a healthy meal in 30 minutes or less, and that’s what this chapter is all about. Lots of fast breakfasts, smoothies, soups, salads, snacks and dinner which can be prepared super quickly and you can dash out of the house with it in your tupperware, ready for the day.
I always say preparation is key, and if you spend just 30 mins cooking in the evening preparing your overnight oats for the next day, and cooking your dinner (leftovers for lunch the next day!), it’s very easy to avoid less than healthy snacks when you’re out and about. I always love to keep snacks on hand so I’ve got lots of new recipes for energy balls and more to help satisfy your cravings.
At the weekend you want to relax. You’ve had a fast paced week and you’ve got more time to think about food and what you’re going to munch on over the weekend. There are plenty of delicious brunches, stews, roasts, salads and desserts that are packed with flavour. The weekend recipes are your ultimate comfort food, without refined sugar, gluten and dairy.
At the very back of the book you’ll find my favourite get up and glow yoga sequence. I do this every morning to set me up for the day ahead. It helps me to feel energised, awake and puts my mind at ease going into the day.
You can buy my book from Amazon UK and Amazon Germany online. If you’re looking for a local shop, Sainsburys, Tesco, Asda, W H Smiths, Waterstones, Lakelands, Foyles, Blackwells and Oliver Bonas all stock it!
I wrote this book for you – my beautiful readers and followers who I appreciate every day for helping me to continue writing recipes. I truly hope you enjoy every page of Ready Steady Glow.
Please comment below with your feedback, and if you like the book I would love you to leave me a review on Amazon.
