I’m a mother, nutritional therapist and author who has been sharing recipes to help you get the glow back for the last 8 years...
I often get asked ‘what do I need in my kitchen?’ So I thought I would dedicate a post to letting you know what’s in my kitchen and what essentials you need.
If you are a follower of my recipes you’ll know that I use a food processor a lot. It’s the best thing for desserts, baking, cauliflower rice and much more..
When it comes to what brand is right well it depends on how much you are going to use it.
I have a Cuisinart which is quite an investment but I use it everyday. It is industrial grade so it cuts down raw desserts, makes nut butter and the perfect cake.
I also recommend:
This is also really great, and will make raw desserts really well but might overheat making nut butter as its blades aren’t as sharp.
If you are a smoothie lover I have to say it has to be the one and only…
The most loved kitchen gadget. The perfect smoothie maker. I love to blend up veggie smoothies in the morning with this. It’s fast, quick and so easy to use.
I wouldn’t use a Nutribullet for cauliflower rice, desserts or cakes, as it is just not made for these. But, if you just want to make smoothies then this is perfect for you.
If you love courgetti like me then you will want one of these on your bench top. It makes perfect noodles from courgettes, sweet potatoes, beetroots, carrots etc.. It’s a great way of getting veg into your life and make a great shape.
If you don’t have space to fit this in your cupboard grab a julienne peeler which also does the job.
Other than that – good, sharp knifes, and a chopping board and you are good to go!
