Hey Lovely People,
I hope you enjoyed this week’s podcast episode with the fantastic travel journalist Kate Wills. Kate is the author of a brilliant new book ‘A Trip of One’s Own’, out now.
On today’s episode, we talk all about Kate’s brand new book, and she discusses how travelling solo can really change your life. We discuss her favourite places to visit, some interesting bucket list destinations, as well as her very insightful packing tips!
Kate talks very openly about the struggles of societal pressure to live the ‘correct way’ after getting divorced at a relatively young age. I admire the courage Kate displays in describing how it is never too late to start over. In particular, the illustration of this belief, through her own experience of the end of her marriage becoming the start of a beautiful new chapter, leading to both an incredible book and a beautiful young baby.
