The change in seasons can sometimes make our digestion sluggish.
Good digestion is the key to improved energy!
These top tips will ensure your tummy stays flat and eyes bright throughout the upcoming festive season….
1. Chew Chew
This is a big thing I talk to my clients about. I feel like their mother when I say it but it is SUPER important. If you don’t chew your food it makes it a lot harder for your stomach to break down and thus be absorbed and assimilated into energy. Chew your food 10 times in your mouth, it will make life a lot sweeter for your body!
2. Stop eating and tweeting
We need to be present with our food, so put down your laptop and no tv dinners any more. We need to be present with our food, it will help us chew it more and be more present. Often when we are distracted we overeat and cause a lot of stress on our digestive organs.
3. Eat you largest meal at lunch not dinner
Ayurvedic principles say when the sun is at its highest; your digestive fire is at its greatest. The Europeans follow this also. It means you don’t go to bed with a belly full of jelly. Eat light at night!
