Raw Press Grapefruit Bircher


I’ve teamed up with Raw Press to bring you guys some tasty recipes inspired by their gorgeous cold pressed juices.

Today I’m showing you how to make a Grapefruit Bircher inspired by their Citrus juice. With awesome flavours of apple, thyme and grapefruit this bircher is going to have you springing out of bed in the morning.

Recipe: Grapefruit Bircher

  • 150g Gluten-Free Oats
  • 300ml Of Cold Pressed Orange Juice
  • 1 Vanilla Pod Scraped
  • 1 Tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 Apple, Grated
  • 1 Grapefruit
  • 1 Tsp Coconut Oil
  • 25g Of Flaked Almonds
  • 1/2 Tsp Of Freshly Chopped Thyme
  • 10g Of Toasted Coconut Flakes
  • 1 Tbsp Honey or other natural sweetener
  • 50g Coconut Yoghurt


The night before, stir the orange juice, oats, apple, vanilla and cinnamon together in a bowl. Pour into two glasses and leave to soak overnight in the fridge.

In the morning melt the coconut oil in a pan and add the almond, thyme, coconut and honey and stir for 3 minutes until the almond are flaked. Leave to cool and harden.

Peel the grapefruit, slice in half and thinly slice. Top the glasses with the grapefruit, nut mix and coconut yogurt.
