Let’s Talk Fertility with Emma Cannon

I sat down with fertility goddess and acupuncturist, Emma Cannon. I met Emma when I came off the pill and my periods were irregular. She helped to regulate them and helped me understand about more about my fertility.

Congratulations on the pregnancy! It is an amazing experience I hope to have soon myself. Thank you for these videos – your spirit really does glow! I was diagnosed with PCOS in my twenties and have been working very hard to sort out a diet that keeps my symptoms under control. I love both of your books and even my boyfriend really enjoys the food – a real success as he is a chocoholic and fry up fan!

Really interesting video, thank you for talking about this topic! I came off the pill nearly a year ago and haven’t had a period since which is quite scary even if I’m not trying to get pregnant at the moment…

Could you do a video or blog post about what helped you regulate your periods/get your period again after coming off the pill?

Thanks so much for that really interesting video and sharing that personal experience. I am looking more into the hormone topic now as well since I’ve got my IUD without hormones and I don’t get my period regularly. I knew it will take some time but even I am following a healthy diet and lifestyle it’s still irregular. Fertility and female hormones is such an interesting and important topic, so Emma’s book is definitely on my list.

Thank you for sharing, we’ve been trying to conceive for 6 months and I’ve felt really alone, a bit like I’m surrounded by people who got pregnant so easily and quickly with very little effort so I’ve felt a bit like something must be wrong with me, it’s nice to know i’m not alone and it is perfectly normal to be waiting,

Will have to check out her book

Really interesting with some great advice. I came off the pill 5 months ago and haven’t had a period since. Like you said, I expected my period to return as normal, but clearly it doesn’t always work like that. However, being 35, I am a little nervous as to how long it could potentially take for things to be working properly! I’ll definitely look into Emma’s new book to see what I can do. Thanks for sharing your advice and experience!
