Things I’m loving this week…eggs!
This week I’m getting eggy. Eggs are one of my most used ingredients in the kitchen. They’re versatile, nutritious, economical and really tasty! It’s also great that you can dress your eggs up and get loads of beautiful accessories. They’re super fun and actually really handy.
I love to protein-pack my breakfasts to keep me full up until lunch, and eggs are such an important source of good-quality protein. I’m sharing with you some egg accessories that are fun and look great in the kitchen.
It’s quite amazing how many egg-based products there are on the market, and if you’re like me you’ll find it very easy to go a bit egg crazy.
So let’s get eggcited. Jazz up your breakfast!
These pans are fab, the perfect size for frying up some eggs. They look great too; I love serving Shakshouka in these pans.
These rings are great for formulating a perfectly neat egg. Serve your eggs sunny side up for friends – they’ll be impressed with your perfectly circular eggs!
Not necessarily something to help with cooking your eggs but it can sure make your luggage look cool! This luggage tag from Skinny Dip is so much fun!
This egg separator is super handy for those who aren’t that good at separating the yolk from the white. Works like a charm!
This egg shaper is fantastic! So so cute and really easy to use. This is a great way of getting kids to eat more eggs too!
Having a whisk is so handy and useful in the kitchen for whipping up a great batter or getting your eggs ready for an omelette! I like to whisk my eggs up to make them light and fluffy.
Eggcups are great and an absolute staple for my childhood favourite of egg and soldiers! This little guy comes complete with a little egg cracking hammer and a spoon to scoop out the hard to dip parts.
Another fab way to get children eating eggs, this weather-inspired shaper is so cute and totally transforms the average fried egg.
An egg cracker isn’t essential but it is pretty cool – this one from Rosie is great for the breakfast table. It’s such a useful gadget for removing the top of a hard-boiled eggshell in one easy motion.
These shakers look lovely on the kitchen table and they’re in an amazing egg shape too! What better way to add a little sea salt and pepper to your eggs!
