It’s been a LONG while since I have written a blog post…

2) It’s because other exciting things have been happening, like the launch of my 12-week self-care IBS programme – Happy Gut Guide . Which was launched just 2 days ago!!!

Happy New Year though, I’m pretty excited about 2019, I hope you are too. As always though, January so far as been full of a whole lot of cold, so I thought it was the right time to share my 5 top things you need for boosting your immunity and to feel good this month. Enjoy!

 

1. Manuka Honey

The most underrated immunity boosting ingredient that you never knew you needed. Manuka honey, sourced from manuka plants, is antiviral, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits. In fact, it has traditionally been used for wound healing, soothing sore throats and improving digestive problems, so no doubt it will be great for immunity this January.

 

2. Immune Intensive

It’s not always possible to eat lots of antioxidant rich foods and fill yourself up with the nutrients you need. Immune Intensive by BioCare is a potent complex of elderberry, sage and beta glucans with Vitamin C, D and zinc and is a powerhouse for the immune system.  These nutrients play a key role in fighting off disease! Get your daily dose of essential minerals by eating pumpkin seeds, nuts, legumes, eggs and of course vitamin C packed fruits!

 

5. Meditate with ME

Usually after a busy period, as soon as you start winding down and relaxing a nasty cold comes on or you start feeling unnecessarily anxious – don’t worry it’s normal. So ensuring you have some special down time will really help for boosting immunity.
