Cook the pasta as per instructions in slightly salted water.
Heat the butter or oil in a pan. Add the shallot and sauté for 5 minute. Then add the garlic and a pinch of salt. Stir for 30 seconds, don’t let the garlic brown. Then add the tomatoes, tomato puree and the chilli – cook for 2 minutes and stir well. Add the prawns and cook until pink.
Finally, throw in the pasta, olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Once everything is piping hot, pour into bowls and enjoy.
