Paleo chia hot cross buns


These delicious hot cross buns are gluten, diary and grain free. They are spiced with spring flavours of cinnamon, clementines and sultanas. The chia seeds help bind these buns and give them a little added protein goodness. They are so easy to make and even easier to eat!

Good For


  1. Place everything but the coconut flour into a bowl and stir well.
  2. Roll them into 12 even buns. Place them on top a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  3. Place the coconut flour into a bowl, add a tsp of water at a time until a paste forms. Use this to paint the cross on top.
  4. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
  5. Serve with fresh berries and yogurt.
