I love starting the morning with a big bowl of porridge, and my matcha chia porridge will have you raring and ready to seize the day!

This breakfast dish contains high levels of antioxidants from the chia seeds and matcha green tea. Not only is matcha higher in antioxidants than regular green tea, but it contains catechins which helps fight free radicals such as pollution and UV rays. It also boosts your metabolism as well as your energy, so you’ll feel alert for the day ahead! Chia seeds are also loaded with antioxidants and contain high levels of protein which will keep you feeling fuller for longer.

Whip this up the night before and enjoy for breakfast, or as a light snack before you workout.

Serves 2 Ready in 15 minutes


Mix everything together.

Let it sit in the fridge for at least 15 minutes so that the chia seeds can swell up.

Enjoy on its own, or top as desired. I love topping mine with berries!

Tips – This can be made the night before to enjoy in the morning or can be taken to work.
