Chocolate Hazelnut Bites

,

Sometimes all we fancy is a little treat. These Chocolate Hazelnut bites are one of my favourite things to whip up and the good thing is that they will last a week in the fridge (but if you’re like me, they’ll be gone in 24 hours). I first made these for Kieran and I when we wanted something sweet after dinner to munch on with a film.

Whip these up with your man, your friends or your mum! The perfect indulgence for a healthy night in.

Ready in 65 minutes Good For ,

Directions

Place everything but the chocolate in the food processor and process until smooth.

Place the mixture in a baking paper lined tray so it is 2 cm thick.

Freeze for 1 hour until hard.

Melt the chocolate, cut the bar into bite size squares and dip in the chocolate.

Place back in the freezer to harden up.

Would honey be OK to use instead of the syrup?

I’ve just put a batch of these into the freezer, looking forward to trying them this evening after dinner. The mixture tastes yummy so I know they’re going to be even better dipped in chocolate!
