Which Supplements Should I Be Taking Daily?

When I meet clients for the first time they will often tell me how many pills they pop each day. I actually do think we need some form of supplementation for optimal health.

These are the pills I take:

1. A Multivitamin

A multivitamin a day ensures that you have all your essential micronutrients for the day. I like to take one each day to keep everything in check.

2. Omega 3

Omega 3 fatty acids are ESSENTIAL for the body, they are needed for optimal health and are not produced in the body so we need to get these from our food. Of course, you don’t want to eat fish every day so you need to take your omega 3′s in a pill or liquid form. These babies really help you get the glow.

3. Probiotic

Acidophilus and Bifidobacterium are two of the primary probiotic strains in the body. These “friendly” bacteria help maintain a beneficial balance of flora in our intestine supporting immune health and intestinal function. These days we strip our body of good bacteria due to excess sugar, stress, alcohol and the pill. We need to put back in probiotics to balance out our gut bacteria.

Recently, I’ve been taking Inner Me Daily 4 Me which supplies all the above plus some added antioxidants which we all know will get you the glow.

4. Vitamin D

Now summer is here at the minute and, if you have been in the UK, we’ve actually been enjoying a tropical affair. However, we need to supplement our buddies now that autumn is creeping in. Vitamin D regulates the amount of calcium and phosphate in the body. This keeps your beautiful bones burly and your teeth strong and healthy. Without adequate Vitamin D your bones can become thin and weak. Vitamin D supports the immune system, normal muscle function and cell growth.

I love this one

  1. Sorry i know this is slightly unrelated to the post but what is your opinion on the blood group diet? Should i avoid the foods that is says my blood group should?

  2. In general I think it is great to take supplements, but recently I’ve been kind of concerned about all the extra’s that they put into supplements. I’ve been looking into taking some extra magnesium, but the pills have so many things added that should best be avoided.. for example microcrystalline cellulose.. What is your opinion about this?

  3. Being a student I find it hard to find great beauty and health products on a budget! Is there any suppliments you would recomend which are cheaper but still effective?

  4. I’ve just bought the daily for me supplements! Do you take the whole strip in one go or spread them out across the day? xx

  5. Hi

I was sent a complimentary pack of Beautify Me Pro Skin when I ordered my Daily 4 Me supplements. Do you think it’s ok to take both or is it vitamin overload?? x

  6. HI I am wondering if i can take them all at the same time like in the morning before i go to work or is it unsafe? I never remember to take them!

  7. What do you think of L Carnitine and Chromium Picolinate? I heard good things from a friend, but have read mixed things on the internet, so am unsure if I should be taking them or not?
